This was a work created through a short residency at the Festival of Extreme Building in Birmingham in Summer 2007. The work focused on creating a series of model houses each a response to the circumstances of the urban environment. These were:
The Dust House - revealing the beauty of matter out of place.
The Damp House - a nationalistic gesture reflecting the dominant condition of UK-ness.
The Haptic House - a space for recharging the urban vibe.
The House of Angels and Pins - a space for communing with the divine.
The Urban Tumbleweed House - a rolling plastic bag inspired and created a dwelling that goes where the wind takes it.
